If you are looking for something to do the next two weekends, drive over to the Cambridge Performing Arts Center on Main Street and see the classic play Our Town. What's even better about going to see this play is that two of John Glenn's own are acting in this play. Senior Charleigh Lemon plays the lead female role, Emily Webb. Lemon, who seems to really appreciate her character, explains, "Emily is the kind of person who realizes the importance of life and what everyone is missing. She has an opportunity to go back and relive a day from her childhood, and in so doing realizes how she and her family did not really see each other because they were caught up in silly things. She realizes the bonds between people."Lemon, who has been performing at CPAC since third grade, says that she loves the theater. "I have the opportunity to be anything I wish to be," she said.Junior Molly Chlovechok is also featured in the play playing Mrs. Soames. Our Town by Thornton Wilder is a play about the different stages of life and how quickly a lifetime goes by. The dates for the play are Feb. 18, 19, 25, 26 beginning at 7 p.m. and two matinees on Feb. 20 and 27 beginning at 3 p.m.The theater is next to Theos Restaurant, so you might consider making a night of dinner and theater in Cambridge.
