Muskingum inducts students into academic fraternities

NEW CONCORD — Muskingum University has announced the induction of the following students in its academic fraternities, based on the students' academic performance, community service and leadership.  

Local students were inducted into the following honorary fraternities: Kaitlin Chorey, Cambridge, Omicron Delta Kappa; Joseph Pheil, Cambridge Phi Kappa Phi; and Katrina Baker, Lore City, Omicron Delta Kappa.

Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest and largest collegiate honor society dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all disciplines. 

Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society for college students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni. 

Lambda Sigma, a national honor society for second-year men and women, dedicated to the purpose of fostering leadership, scholarship, fellowship and the spirit of service among college students.
