NEW CONCORD -- The Muskingum University Department of Music will host its Spring Choral Concert on Sunday, April 25 at 3 p.m. in Brown Chapel on the campus. This event is free and open to the public. Under the direction of Professor of Music Robert Owen Jones, the performance will feature the university's Choral Society and Concert Choir, appearing with a variety of soloists and a full orchestra. This year's program will present Franz Joseph Haydn's immortal oratorio, "The Creation." Last performed at Muskingum in 1989, the work depicts the six days of the creation of the world, and is widely considered one of Haydn's greatest compositions.
