MUSKINGUM COUNTY CENTER FOR SENIORS

Janice Funk / Executive Assistant Published:

ZANESVILLE -- The Center for Seniors Board of Trustees at the Muskingum County Center for Seniors had an appreciation breakfast Wednesday morning for the staff, transportation and meal delivery personnel of the Center for Seniors.

The breakfast was held at the center and employees were invited to have made to order omelets and Belgium waffles before starting the workday.

Chef Bill Bird from Zandex prepared the breakfast.

The breakfast was held to show appreciation to the staff, transportation and meal delivery personnel for their dedication and commitment to serve the senior population of our county.

The previous two weeks were very tough weeks for all drivers and inside staff. There were cars to clean off, de-ice, and warm-up almost daily along with the many service schedule changes. Many days involved shoveling the vehicles out of snow banks from the parking lot snow plows. The back-to-back-to-back snows certainly stressed our staff, but their commitment was there.
