New Concord United Methodist Women met April 8 with 14 members and two guests in attendance.
The group recited the Purpose.
President Sylvia Bates opened the meeting with a reading about Easter, "Little Country Church."
The secretary's and treasurer's reports were read and approved.
Joys and concerns for members and guests were expressed.
UMW will be hosting Hebrew Coffee House the month of April.
UMW Sunday was observed April 11. Pastor Michelle Nordine brought the message.
Eight women represented the group at Guest Night on April 7 at Chandlersville UM Church.
Health kits will be taken to the district meeting April 18 at Senecaville.
It was reported Acts of Faith will provide entertainment at the mother-daughter banquet on May 6 at 6:30 p.m.
The Unit has been invited to attend Guest Night on April 20 at Old Washington UM Church.
Mount Union School of Missions will be July 16-18 and Lakeside School of Missions will be Sept. 10-11.
The group is hosting Compass Group Training on May 8. Large church training will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and small church will be 2 to 8 p.m.
Betty Lou LePage will led the June meeting, and Bates and Pat Taylor will host.
Carol Cubbison led the meeting, and Alice Gates and June Turner hosted.
