Red Hat Lady Divas met April 12 at Country Corner Restaurant in New Concord for a buffet lunch to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the National Red Hat Society.
There were 22 members in attendance.
Queen Mum Jackie Wisenbarger led the meeting.
May and June meetings were discussed. On May 12 there will be a jewelry craft class at 12:30 p.m. the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center. The cost is $5.
The Divas have been invited to a tea in June at the Cardinal House.
Cards were signed and sent to Dotty Jones and Judy Fehrman.
Virginia Strong won the center piece. Door prizes were awarded to Mary Jane Downerd, Shirley Rose, Doris Chalfant, Evelyn Hessin, Linda Cain and Eleanor Davis.
A poem titled, “Fashion Do’s and Don’ts for Seniors,” was read by Wisenbarger and the concluded.
Reservations for the May meeting can be made to Janie Downerd, 439-6681. Lunch will be available before the craft class at the center.
