Carlos and Mildred Sears of Chandlersville will celebrate

Carlos and Mildred Sears of Chandlersville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 26, 2010. On July 26, 1950, Mildred Paisley, daughter of Strahl and Mary Paisley, and Carlos Sears, son of Harry and Lucy Sears, were united in marriage in Zanesville. Peggy Tom and Bob Hall attended the couple. Mr. Sears retired from Ohio Ferro Alloy and from Franklin Local Schools, where he served as a bus driver. Mrs. Sears is a homemaker. The couple are members of Blue Rock Baptist Church. They have four children, Audrey Blackstone, Darron Sears, Duane (Amy Burgoon) Sears, all of Chandlersville, and the late Joyce. Completing the family circle are seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 25 at Old Chandlersville School, for an open house to celebrate the special occasion.
