Brad to lead Shamrocks in 2012

The Shady Valley Shamrocks 4-H Club held their second meeting of the year on March 20 at the New Concord United Methodist Church.

Advisor Rick Reid was in charge of the meeting.

The club elected officers. Leading the club will be President Brad Comisford, Vice President Kayla Art, Secretary David Morgan, Treasurer Casey Art, News Reporter Minnie Lucas, Health & Safety Officer Luke Comisford, Historian Gena Lahmers, Recreation Officer Ryane Gray-Burris and Community Service Officer Danielle Ward.

The club discussed community service projects and voted to sell Jeff’s Jerky as a fund raiser.

Members chose their projects and filled out registration papers.

The club is scheduled to next meet at 7 p.m. April 3 at the New Concord United Methodist Church.
