COLUMBUS -- Josey and Haley M. James, both New Concord, will exhibit Angus cattle at the 2009 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show in Columbus, June 25-27, reports Bryce Schumann, CEO of the American Angus Association.
Josey and Haley, both junior members of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo., is one of 184 young Angus breeders from 21 states who have entered a total of 376 head to compete for championship honors.
Brett Barber, Channing, Texas, will judge divisions for bred-and-owned heifers, bred-and-owned bulls, cow-calf pairs, owned heifers, and registered Angus steers.
The Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show is sponsored by the American Angus Association and the Ohio Junior Angus Association.
It is one of eight junior Angus shows sanctioned by the national organization for nearly 7,000 junior Angus members in the United States and Canada.
