Patty Jameson, of New Concord, recalls John Glenns historic space flight of Feb. 20, 1962. She was a 17-year-old senior at Byesville High School then. Five decades later, as the nation prepares to celebrate the anniversary of Glenns flight, Jameson finds herself 17 again ... sort of. Shes one of the .274 percent of the worlds population just 4,791,239 in all among 6.7 billion people worldwide born on Feb. 29. Leaplings usually celebrate their birthdays in non-Leap Years either Feb. 28 or March 1.
