NEW CONCORD The John & Annie Glenn Historic Site in New Concord and The National Road/Zane Grey Museum at Norwich are both looking to add more volunteer tour guides for the upcoming season.

Keith Eberly, executive director for the John & Annie Glenn Museum Foundation, which operates both sites, said, Our guides help to interpret the stories the museums have to tell and simply make a visit more meaningful. We are fortunate to have local community members who enjoy sharing the areas rich history. We just need more of them so that we can provide these guided tours for everyone who walks through our doors.

The museums are both open May through October, Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.

Volunteer shifts are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m., and they can be either weekly or bi-weekly. Extra help is also needed for group tours which may or may not be during regular hours.
