Ohio law would keep officials' military service exempt from open records law

COLUMBUS -- Documents related to public officials' active military service would be exempt from disclosure under open records laws, under legislation approved by the Ohio House Wednesday.

HB 423 passed on a unanimous vote and heads to the Ohio Senate for further consideration.
