For Seniors, it can be a stressful time for those who are thinking about their future. Some may begin to think that they are behind when it comes to applying for scholarships. The monthly Guidance Newsletter contains all of the information on current scholarships. Many scholarships have already reached their deadlines, but there are many scholarships that are still current today.

There about eleven scholarships that have been on the newsletter for a few months but are still available. Those scholarships would include the United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship, Ohio Township Association Scholarship, American Society of Military Comptrollers Buckeye Chapter Scholarship, Charles L.Warren Memorial Heritage Scholarship, Guernsey County Republican Club, Student Award Search Aid - B. Davis Scholarship, Abbott & Fenner Scholarship, Zane State College Academic Award Program, Engineers Foundation of Ohio (Multiple Scholarships), Big Sun Scholarship, and ESA Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

The requirements and other information on these scholarships can be found in the newsletter, which is available in the guidance office. There are also new scholarships included in the newsletter.

These scholarships are America’s Farmers Grow AG Leaders, Guernsey Muskingum Electric Co-op, Touchstone Energy Special Achievement Scholarship, The Energy Cooperative “Members” Scholarship, The Energy Cooperative Touchstone Energy Achievement Scholarship Program, Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship, Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Foundation Scholarship, Molly Ann Clark Scholarship, Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools Ohio LEADSI Scholarship Program, Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship Program, Aspiring Business Professional Scholarship Program, and the National Society Daughters of the Revolution/DAR Scholarships.

The end of each newsletter includes information about specific colleges. Deadlines that are new or ones that will be occurring soon are included under the the colleges that are listed. Those colleges include The Ohio State University Newark, Mid-East Career & Technology Centers-Adult Education, AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) auditions, and the Frostburg State University.
