Mid East Visits for Sophomores

The goal of Mid-East is to allow students a chance to get a head start on a specified education relating to their topic of interest. Recently students here at John Glenn got a chance to visit Mid-East and explore their programs.

 

On Tuesday, November 7th, students travelled to the Buffalo campus and toured the programs of interest. Students will be visiting the Zanesville campus Wednesday, November 15th to explore a few more programs with a different variety from the Buffalo campus. The Buffalo campus will be hosting a career night for any prospective students, interested in their programs. At Mid-East, students will receive the same education as they would at their high school only they would be taking specified classes for their field of interest.

The Buffalo Mid-East campus offers courses in all areas: Auto Technology, Business Employability Skills Training (BEST), Computer Support Technology, Construction, Technologies, Dental Assisting, GRADS, Graphic Art and Design, Multi-Skilled Health Technician, WAGES, (Work and Gain an Education Successfully), Vet Assisting & Animal Care, Welding Technology.


Zanesville campus offers contrasting courses: Auto Collision Technology, Business & Financial Services, Building Maintenance, Carpentry, Computer Network/Electronic Technology (CNET), Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Custodial Services, Diesel Technology, Digital Media, Early Childhood Education, Electrical Trades, Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, GRADS, Medical and Legal Office Professionals, Multi-Skilled Health Technician, Natural Resource Conservation, Power Line Technician, Practical Nurse, Precision Machining, & Manufacturing (WMM),Restaurant and Foodservice Operations, Robotics, Automation & Design, Welding Technology.
