John Glenn Football Boosters Redeye

The John Glenn Football Boosters are sponsoring a redeye trip to New York City from June 19-21. The cost is $100 and reservations are being taken at 255-0603 or 255-7114.

Muskingum College Roundball Camp

The 39th Annual Muskingum College Roundball Camp in now accepting registrations. The camp will run June 21-25 and is open to boys entering grades 5-12. The camp cost is $300 and all campers will be housed in college dormitories. Meals will be served three times a day on campus. Team and individual competition will be included in the daily activities, which will be aimed toward developing individual improvement in the fundamental skills of the game of basketball. Kambri Shrine Golf Outing at Wildfire

The Cambridge Shrine Golf Outing will take place Saturday, June 20 at Wildfire Golf Club in New Concord with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The cost for the four-man scramble is $50 per person ($200 per team) which include cart, green fees, steak dinner, two refreshment tickets and mulligans. There will be a Skins Game for $2 per player. Women play from red tees, 65 and older from gray tees, all others from white tees. Awards include closest-to-the-pin on par threes; long drive on No. 13 (age 65-over) and No. 14 (age 64-under). Coach Vejsicky Golf Scramble at Wildfire

The annual Coach Vejsicky Golf Scramble will take place on July 11 at Wildfire Golf Club in New Concord. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and play begins at 8 with a shotgun start. The cose is $200 for a four-player team (limited to 24 teams) and Skins will be $20 per team. First place pays $500; second is $400 and third is a paid entry to the 2010 event. There will be door prizes, silent auction, skill gamea nd a small tee gift. To register, donate or for hole sponsorship opportunities, contact Adamo Rex at (740) 297-0513 or rexygolf@hotmail.com. All proceeds will benefit the Jim Vejsicky Memorial Scholarship Fund.
