Walter Thompson Kindle

NEW CONCORD -- Walter Thompson Kindle, 95, passed away Sunday (Sept. 13, 2009).

He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Clara Hanna Kindle of New Concord; his sisters, Agnus Prugh, Martha Kindle and Margaret Stevens, all of New Concord; and his parents, Myrtle and George Kindle, both of New Concord.

He is survived by two daughters, Martha Jean Anderson of Lakeland, Fla., and Carolyn Bottger of Rockford, Ill.; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and two nephews.

Walter spent his life doing what he loved. His life can be summed up with the line in an old song, "I did it my way."

He was truly one of a kind and he will be missed.
