Margaret Lent

BYESVILLE -- Margaret Lent, 93, of New Concord, passed away Wednesday (March 24, 2010) at the Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she had lived for several years.

She was born April 17, 1916, in Pleasant City, daughter of the late Evan and Cora (Hively) Callahan.

Mrs. Lent was well-known as a Stanley Home Products dealer, and a Sunday school teacher at Four Square Gospel Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lent, whom she married Aug. 10, 1935, and who passed away Feb. 22, 1998; two sons, Dane and Scott Lent; and 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Paul (Marge Toth) of Newark and Gary (Barbara Larrick) of Cincinnati; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were April 3, 2010, at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. The Rev. William Cain officiated.

Burial was in Harmony Christian Cemetery.

Her family requests that memorial donations be made to the Four Square Gospel Church, 425 Clark St., Cambridge, OH 43725.
