Thelma Irene Dailey

NEW CONCORD — Thelma Irene Dailey, 81, of Chandlersville, died at 9:33 a.m. June 10, 2010, at  the home of her son, following a long illness.

 

She was born Jan. 9, 1929, in Chandlersville, a daughter of the late Ralph and Norma Mansperger Arnett.  

She was a former employee of Mosaic Tile, Lumi-Lite Candle Company of Norwich, and retired from the General Electric Warehouse at New Concord. Thelma was a Methodist by faith.

She is survived by her son, Donald Jenkins, Chandlersville; stepdaughter, Ruth Collopy, Lima and stepsons,George (Dorothy) Dailey, Chandlersville and Lester Dailey, Zanesville; brother, George Arnett, Chandlersville; grandchildren, Brian Jenkins and Jason Jenkins and  nieces, Lorie Lane and Pam Arnett.

Her husband, Ermit G. Dailey preceded her in death on May 23, 1988.

Calling hours were June 13 at Mock-Miller Funeral Home, 63 West Main Street, New Concord, where services took place at 11 a.m. on June 14 with Chaplin Timothy Patton officiating. 

Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery in Perry Township, near Sonora.
