Allen T. "Charlie" Elliott

 

NEW CONCORD — Allen T. “Charlie” Elliott, 53, of New Concord, died at 12:23 a.m. on Saturday (July 3, 2010) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born Aug. 16, 1956, in Zanesville, son of the late Myron and Mary Louise Hague Elliott. 

Mr. Elliott was a 1974 graduate of John Glenn High School, a member of Rix Mills Presbyterian Church, and owned Lifetime Fence Construction. 

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, pitching horseshoes, fishing, and watching sports on TV. He was a member of the National and Tri-County Horseshoe Pitchers Association, Ohio Cattlemen Association, and Westland Willing Workers 4-H Club.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Williams Fox Elliott, whom he married July 27, 1993; son, Tony (Jessica) Fox, Blue Rock; daughter, Amy  Fox (Luke) McMannis, McConnelsville; sisters, Judy Elliott , Luscerna, Italy, and Susan Elliott, New Concord; brothers, Gary (Patty) Elliott, Johnson City, Tenn., and Paul (Betty) Elliott, New Concord; grandchildren, Faith, Dylan, Leah, Kaitlynn, Brady, and Payten; nephews, Mirco, Curtis, and Brian; and a niece, Angela.

Funeral services were July 8 at Mock-Miller Funeral Home, 63 West Main St., New Concord, with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating.  

Burial was in the Salt Creek Cemetery, near Rix Mills.
