CALDWELL — Curtis Clayton “Clampster” Lamp, 47, of Marietta, died Sunday (July 11, 2010) near Marietta.
He was born June 6, 1963, in Caldwell, son of the late Curtis B. and Jewell B. Harriman Lamp.
Mr. Lamp was a 1981 graduate of Caldwell High School and Mid-East Career Center in Zanesville, where he studied natural resources.
He was employed by Ken Miller Supply in Marietta, where he was a welder, machine operator, and a truck driver.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timmothy C. Lamp, on June 2, 2002; one sister, Alice Bond; and one brother, Ervin Lamp.
Surviving are his girlfriend, Brandi N. Petry of Marietta; two sons, Tyler Clayton Lamp of Caldwell and Ethan Ray Lamp of the home; the mother of his son, Tyler, Donna M. Lamp of Caldwell; one brother, Frank Lamp of Dexter City; one grandson, Timmothy Dalton Lamp of Caldwell; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
Funeral services were July 16 at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating.
Burial followed in the Ogles Ridge Cemetery.
