RONALD PATRICK ‘PAT’ WARREN 1945-2011

NEW CONCORD Ronald Patrick Pat Warren, 66, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday (Dec. 29, 2011) at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.

He was born Jan. 7, 1945, in Zanesville, son of the late Richard P. and Evelyn L. White Warren.

Mr. Warren was a 1962 graduate of Cambridge High School and a member of the East Union Presbyterian Church, VFW of Buffalo and the Masonic Lodge of Norwich.

He retired as a master chief with the U.S. Navy after 28 years of service, of which 20 years were with the explosive ordinance disposal unit as a foreign training officer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David M. Warren and Louis S. Warren.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Carol M. McCourt Warren, whom he married Dec. 22, 1967; a son, Darrel L. Warren and a granddaughter, Cali Rose White Warren of Mount Shasta, Calif.; a daughter, Alicia A. Warren of Delmar, Md.; a sister, Mary J. Warren of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two sisters-in-law, Rickie Warren and Rita Warren. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services were Wednesday, Jan. 4 at East Union Presbyterian Church, 59535 Claysville Road, Cambridge, with the Rev. Larry Jack officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with military graveside services provided by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
