While most students are excited about homecoming week, many may feel they could use some advice about it. So, we at the Jon-Jee have come up with a list of things you should do for homecoming week.
1. During the games, don't worry about others watching and laughing at you. Get involved; have fun.
2. Make the seniors work for it in the games.
3. Dress up for spirit days. You might get your picture in the yearbook.
4. Learn the words to the Alma Mater and at least pretend to sing.
5. Seek shelter at the parade because you will most likely be pelted with hard candy.
6. Stand with little kids at the parade; you get more candy.
7. Don't worry about having a date for the dance. Go alone or with a friend; it's fun either way.
8. At the dance, wear something recognizable so you can find each other... try hunter orange.
9. Leave with who you came with.
10. Sincerely thank Mr. Dunlap for the hard work he puts in as Student Council adviser; we suggest that everyone go hug him.
