NEW CONCORD -- The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum University freshman Chase Addy (Newcomerstown) has been honored as the OAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Addy won the pole vault competition at the Mount Union College Open Meet on Saturday, February 20 with a career-best tying 14-11.00 vault. It marked the third time this season (Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational, Ohio Athletic Conference Relays, Mount Union College Open) that Addy has won the pole vault event. His mark narrowly missed an NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships provisional mark.
Addy will next compete at the OAC Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Marietta College on February 26-27.
