NEW CONCORD -- After spotting the visiting Central State University Lady Marauders a 1-0 advantage, the Muskingum University Lady Fighting Muskies reeled off eight straight wins to claim a 8-1 victory in college women's tennis action Tuesday. Results: Singles No. 1-Brandy Stewart (CS) def. Nicole Meyer (MU), 6-1, 6-2. No. 2-Kristin Demidovich (MU) def. Aimme Woodcuff (CS), 6-2, 6-2. No. 3-Amanda Chema (MU) def. Jalisa Mixon (CS), 6-1, 6-1. No. 4-Cassandra Sarver (MU) def. Ja'Nae McClain (CS), 6-1, 6-0. No. 5-Libby Johnson (MU) def. Brooklyn Morrow (CS), 6-0, 6-3. No. 6-Ally Thomas (MU) won by forfeit. Doubles No. 1-Nicole Meyer-Kristin Demidovich (MU) def. Brandy Stewart-Aimme Woodcuff (CS), 9-7. No. 2-Amanda Chema-Cassandra Sarver (MU) def. Jalisa Mixon-Ja'Nae McClain (CS), 8-1. Muskingum 9, Central State 0 NEW CONCORD -- It was a clean sweep for the Muskingum University men's tennis team Tuesday as they blanked the visiting Central State University Marauders 9-0.
