Boda earns first-team All-OAC

NEW CONCORD — The Ohio Athletic Conference announced that Muskingum University junior Mary Margaret Boda was honored with first team all-OAC Softball accolades and that sophomore Aly Mazzei was named all-OAC honorable mention.

Boda, a three-year all-league honoree, led the Muskies in batting average (.469), RBI (44), doubles (17), home runs (6), triples (2), slugging percentage (.773) and on-base percentage (.560). Boda, who started every game at first base, logged 18 multiple hit games, 11 multiple RBI games and registered a team-best 12-game hitting streak during the season.

Mazzei hit .298 with 24 RBI, five home runs, nine doubles and one triple. She registered a .508 slugging percentage and had eight multiple hit games, five multiple RBI games and recorded a five-game hitting streak during the year. This marks the second second straight year that Mazzei has been named all-OAC.
