John Glenn softball players earn All-MVL

Tri-Valley High, which ended John Glenn’s stranglehold on the league title by going a perfect 16-0, earned the top two honors on the Muskingum Valley League softball all-star team for 2011.

Ali Smith of the Lady Dawgs was named the MVL “Player of the Year” and Sarah Lindsey gained “Coach of the Year” honors.

John Glenn had several girls gain all-MVL recognition, headed by the trio of Sydney Brown, Bre Bradley and Macey Brosie who gained first team recogntiion.

Tori Clark and Lacey Prater were named to the second unit while Teresa Kuhns was an honorable mention pick.
