MVL Title Up For Grabs

On Tuesday January 23rd, the Muskies beat Philo with a final score of 50-36, setting up a tie for first place in the MVL. On Tuesday, Sheridan beat Tri Valley in overtime with a final score of 76-66. During this game there were 60 fouls called and 88 foul shots were shot. During this game, 7 different players fouled out including three generals and four scotties. This is setting up for a first place showdown on February 13th at John Glenn. Following Tri Valley and John Glenn in the standings is Sheridan in 3rd place with an MVL record of 8-2, Philo in 4th with a 6-4 record, 5th is Morgan with a record of 5-5. In 6th place is Maysville with a 4-6 record, 7th place is New Lex with a 2-7 record, then Crooksville and West Muskingum are tied for 9th place with a record of 1-8.
